The EX-3680 converter can be used as a replacement for a 2.5" hard drive or SSD. A USB 3.0 port on the motherboard or a USB 3.0 controller is required for connection. Both half-size and full-size modules can be used. The USB 3.1 (Gen2) to 6Gbps SATA 3 hardware RAID controller converter supports 2 x full-size mSATA SSDs to USB 3.1 (Gen2) in a 2.5" enclosure with a height of 7mm. It supports RAID 0, 1, and JBOD with jumpers, as well as two SATA 2 and SATA 3 (6Gbps) mSATA SSDs. The converter supports the ATA/ATAPI Packet Command Set and the ATA/ATAPI LBA 48 Address Mode. It is 100% mechanically compatible with a 2.5" mounting frame and supports USB 3.1, 3.0, and 2.0 from the motherboard. It is compliant with the Universal Serial Bus 3.1 specifications Rev. 1.0 and is powered via the USB 3.1 Micro-B 5V bus. The converter is operating system independent and requires no drivers. Four screws for securing the frame are included. Key features: storage media size of the storage drive 2.5" and number of supported storage drives.
