The EX-44316-2 PCI-Express I/O card provides 16 serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It is designed to expand sixteen additional serial ports for PCs, workstations, or servers via the PCIe bus. The card is fully PCI-Express Plug-and-Play compatible and has no issues with IRQ and I/O addresses. Additionally, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the serial connector for a POS system (Power over System). The EX-44316-2 comes with two Octopus cables and a low-profile bracket.
