The Exide backup battery is designed for the electrical consumers in certain vehicles and complements the starter battery. Compared to a standard battery, the Exide Start-Stop Auxiliary, with its AGM technology, has three times the cycle stability. The backup battery, which has a long shelf life, is completely sealed and fully leak-proof due to the fixed electrolyte.
