Evans EC2S Clear Rock Pack

The Evans EC2S Clear Rock Pack consists of three drumheads in sizes 10 inches (25 cm), 12 inches (30 cm), and 16 inches (41 cm), complemented by a 14-inch (36 cm) coated HD Dry snare head. Each EC2 series head features two layers of 0.18 mm thick film, designed for optimized attack tone with controlled sustain and improved tuning stability across various drum sizes. The integrated Sound Shaping Technology includes an Edge Control Ring mounted on the underside of each head, with ring dimensions specifically calibrated for each head size to ensure a balanced frequency response and pre-equalized sound characteristics throughout the drum kit. The included Genera HD Dry snare head has a dual-layer construction with an outer 0.13 mm thick film layer and an inner 0.19 mm thick film layer. This design features a 0.05 mm thick overtone control ring that moves with the head to minimize excessive overtones while controlling sustain. Additionally, precision-drilled Dry-Vents around the head further reduce overtones and provide enhanced sustain control. This combination of technical features makes the pack suitable for rock music applications where controlled resonance and focused attack tone are required. The clear film construction of the EC2 heads offers visual transparency while maintaining consistent performance characteristics.
