EUROLITE Lifting and Safety Ropes

The EUROLITE lifting and safety ropes comply with the current occupational safety regulations from BGI 810-3:2007-03 for loads above people and are constructed based on the European standards DIN EN 12385-4:2008-06 and DIN 56927:2009-03. The ropes are tested by an independent, accredited institute. The determined breaking load is documented in the factory certificate required by the occupational safety association according to DIN EN 10204. Therefore, users can confidently apply these lifting and safety ropes in the area of BGV C1 to secure or attach loads above people.

Use as Lifting Equipment

The ropes are marked with a WLL (Working Load Limit) indication that describes their application in lifting technology. However, for the application area of BGV C1, the correct rope must only be selected according to Table 2 of BGI 810-3:2007-03. According to this, the maximum load capacity of this rope is 40 kg (single strand).

Use as Safety Rope

The selection of the correct safety rope must only be made using Table 9 of BGI 810-3:2007-03. According to this, the maximum weight to be secured by this rope is 5 kg. Lifting rope, safety rope, safety round sling rope 6 x 19 with fiber core, equipped with two thimbles for securing and attaching loads above people, 3 x 600 mm, WLL 100 kg, factory certificate according to DIN EN 10204 available for download, rope with thimble.
