16.5 cm 2-way component system, 70 W RMS @ 3 Ohm. The legendary POW model of the third development stage is now enhanced with a “+” that provides even more power in the high-frequency range. The revised version POW 16+ impresses with its robust yet simple design: a powder-coated, reinforced metal cage with generous ventilation openings, a strong ferrite magnet with a shiny turned bottom, and the characteristic POW glass/paper membrane, whose highly efficient 3-ohm coil design delivers the typical clear and detailed sound. Newly developed 28 mm fabric dome tweeters complete the POW+ thanks to their coupling volume and rear sound diffusion, fitting into the compact size of a 25 mm tweeter. The larger voice coil releases more energy in the upper midrange, resulting in a lower crossover frequency and better integration of the woofer and tweeter. The result: silky smooth highs with impressive fullness and fidelity.
