The Ernie Ball VP Jr 25k comes with the same great features as our original volume pedal, but is 22% smaller. Housed in a compact, sturdy, and nearly indestructible aluminum casing, this pedal is perfectly tuned for active audio signals. A durable Kevlar pull cable, secured with a stainless steel spring, transmits the pedal's movement to the 25k potentiometer.

Designed for keyboards, it is also ideal for the FX loop of a guitar amp. In this setup, it effectively functions as a master volume, while the guitar pot continues to control distortion as usual.

All Ernie Ball volume pedals are built for absolute road readiness. The machined aluminum housings are beyond doubt in terms of their stability. The pedal shafts are made of stainless steel, so wear and tear, such as loosening, is not a concern. A robust rubber mat ensures a slip-resistant grip for your feet on the pedal. In addition to the high weight of the pedal itself, four rubber feet guarantee a secure stand on the floor. All pedals operate passively, so no batteries are required. The mechanical design is such that the pots are moved via a pull cable when the pedals are pressed. Each pedal is moved a thousand times before delivery—now that’s what you call a final inspection! Thanks to the open housings and the plug connections on the pot, the parts are extremely service-friendly. To simplify handling, all the jacks are now located on the front side.
