Product details
The Ernie Ball VP Jr 25k features the same great qualities as our original volume pedal, but is 22% smaller. Housed in a compact, robust, and nearly indestructible aluminum casing, this pedal is perfectly tuned for active audio signals. A durable Kevlar cable, secured with a stainless steel spring, transmits the pedal's movement to the 25k potentiometer.
Designed for keyboards, it is also well-suited for the FX loop of a guitar amp. In this setup, it effectively functions as a master volume, while the guitar pot controls distortion as usual.
All Ernie Ball volume pedals are built for absolute road reliability. The machined aluminum housings are beyond doubt in terms of stability. The pedal shafts are made of stainless steel, so wear and tear, such as loosening, is not a concern. A sturdy rubber mat ensures a non-slip grip for your feet on the treadle. In addition to the high weight of the pedal itself, four rubber feet provide a secure stand on the floor. All pedals operate passively, meaning no batteries are required. The mechanical design allows the pots to be moved via a cable pull when the pedals are pressed down. Each pedal is moved a thousand times before delivery—this is truly quality control! Thanks to the open housing and the plug-in cable connections at the pot, the parts are extremely service-friendly. To simplify handling, all the jacks are now located on the front side.
