EQ-3 Radio switch actuator with flush-mounted push-button input

The compact Homematic IP switch actuator with button input for flush-mounted boxes allows for comfortable control of consumers and serves as a smart replacement for traditional pulse switches. With the Homematic IP switch actuator for flush-mounted boxes, lighting in the smart home can be intelligently controlled and operated with existing buttons or switches. Adjustable time profiles allow the lighting to be tailored to the daily routines of the residents. Flexible combination options with other Homematic IP devices enable numerous additional controls and automations. For short-term loads of up to 15 minutes, consumers with a power consumption of up to 3680 W can be operated. This means that electric radiators can also be controlled with the smart switch actuator. The actuator is compact enough for both flush-mounted and weatherproof outdoor use in surface-mounted distribution boxes. In addition to the powerful switch relay, the smart actuator also features an input for conventional 230 V buttons. Pulse switches can thus be easily replaced, and existing buttons can continue to be used. Besides control via conventional 230 V buttons or switches, the Homematic IP flush-mounted switch actuator can also be conveniently controlled with any other Homematic IP wireless button or via the Homematic IP remote control. In conjunction with the Homematic IP Access Point or a partner solution, operation via voice command is also possible. The setup can be done either via a free smartphone app with a free cloud service through the Homematic IP Access Point or with locally operated Homematic central units CCU2 or CCU3, as well as with numerous partner solutions.
