The Homematic IP module for Hörmann drives enables comfortable and intelligent control of the garage door via the Homematic IP smartphone app or remote control.

Integrating the Hörmann drive into the Homematic IP smart home system is incredibly simple. The module connects to a compatible garage door drive via a plug connector and can be easily accommodated in the drive housing due to its small size. The drive then supplies power to the module, eliminating the need for additional cables.

To operate the device using the free smartphone app, the Homematic IP Access Point is required as the central element of the smart home system. Alternatively, the module can be operated with a CCU2/CCU3 central unit and through various partner solutions.
