Compared to smart projectors, which enable extremely bright images even from minimal housing dimensions, the LS9000 from Epson seems like a relic of a bygone era. The fact that there are no quality advantages over smaller DLP projectors in terms of luminosity or HDR colour volume is just as sobering at first glance as the audible increase in fan noise as soon as the 90% brand of the LS9000's laser...
