The development team at Elite Screens has tackled the annoying issue of daylight and projection with the Daylight EXTREME. Its complex, multi-layered Fresnel design eliminates a significant portion of sunlight. The Elite Screens Daylight EXTREME absorbs light from every angle except for light coming from below. As a result, only the light from the projector or ultra-short-throw projector is reflected back to the viewer. The outcome is a significantly higher light yield and an increase in black levels. Thanks to this technology, the Daylight EXTREME can also be used during the day with a projector, just like a conventional television.

Fresnel Technology – Daylight Extreme (Ceiling light repellent) The dark gray material absorbs 80% of ceiling light, enhancing color saturation and black levels under ambient light conditions. It offers a 90-fold contrast improvement over standard matte white material. The screens are suitable for rooms with ambient light. The black backing prevents light penetration. It projects from a short distance without shading the image and has an 80° viewing angle (40° L/R), allowing for viewer spread while maintaining consistent brightness.

The screen has a high gain, triple light protection, glare reduction, and speckle suppression. It is scratch-resistant and supports 4K/8K Ultra HD as well as HDR. It is suitable for use with UST or ultra-short-throw projectors.
