Electrolux E9WHMIC1 Microplastic Filter

Reduce the release of microplastic fibers into wastewater. With a little effort on your part, our microplastic filter helps decrease the amount of microplastic fibers that enter the wastewater when washing synthetic clothing. The filter removes up to 90% of released microplastic fibers over 45 micrometers. With our microplastic filter, you can prevent microplastic fibers released from your synthetic clothing from entering the wash water.

The microplastic filter must be securely mounted to the wall. Screws for safely mounting the filter on a wall next to the washing machine are included. It does not need to be connected to a power outlet, as it operates using water pressure.

When the microplastic filter needs cleaning, an indicator light will illuminate. If the cleaning indicator lights up during a wash cycle, you can finish the wash cycle first and clean the microplastic filter before the next wash. When it indicates that cleaning is needed, the microplastic filter will be bypassed, and no microplastic fibers will be filtered.

Regular cleaning ensures optimal functionality. With regular cleaning, the microplastic filter will continue to function optimally until the cartridge needs to be replaced. It comes with a free cleaning brush. Dispose of the collected microplastic fibers in the appropriate waste containers.

At least 50% of the total plastic in the microplastic filter is recycled and comes from recycled sources.
