Electro-Voice EKX-12P

With the EKX Series, Electrovoice introduces a new mobile, professional speaker line that represents the highest level of technology and efficiency in its class. Highly efficient 1500W Class D power amplifiers, intelligent thermal monitoring, an intuitive LCD control panel and the new SST (Signal Synchronised Transducer) waveguide design - the E-Voice EKX series impresses with its solid workmanship, consistent concept and outstanding performance values. All speakers in the Electrovoice EKX series are available in both active and passive versions.

Of particular interest to the user are the new DSP functions of the Electrovoice EKX line: in addition to a 3-band EQ, visual monitoring of limiter, input level and master volume, four different presets can be used for different application situations (music, live, speech and club). There are also four additional preset memory locations that can be freely configured and personalised.

The Electrovoice EKX-12P is an active 12" top speaker powered by a powerful 1500W Class D amplifier. With a peak output of 132dB, this extremely versatile speaker achieves an official sound pressure level that should be more than sufficient for many live applications. Combined with the EKX-15SP or EKX-18SP subwoofers, the result is a highly efficient, powerful and mobile PA system. Thanks to the angled body, the Electrovoice EKX speakers are also ideal as stage monitors.
