Transform your guitar and bring the sound of vintage tape-based keyboards back to life. Now every electric guitarist has access to nine magically quirky, dark, and unique Mellotron sounds. No more additional devices, such as special and cumbersome 13-pin MIDI pickups. In addition to the electric guitar, you can trigger the MEL9 with any instrument that produces an electric output, such as a keyboard or a bass, down to 55 Hz or A1. The polyphonic EHX MEL9 has excellent tracking; you can easily produce single notes or chords. The MEL9 captures guitar bends, dive bombs, bends, and all other guitar expression and performance techniques you can throw at it.

• Includes independent effect and dry volume controls so you can create the perfect mix at the effect output.
• Dry output jack outputs your input signal at unity gain.
• Attack control sets the swell speed of the volume. When turned clockwise, notes fade in gradually.
• Sustain control adjusts the release time after stopping a sound. When turned clockwise, the fade-out time increases.
