The extensive history of EHX has been shaped by many revolutionary pedals, but one of the most notable lines has been that of analog drum synthesizers, which includes the Crash Pad. Like the original from 1980, the EHX Crash Pad Electric Crash Drum can produce a range of drum sounds and exceptional oscillation sweeps, as well as process external sounds through its resonance filter. Additionally, it has been updated to respond to expression pedal/CV inputs for real-time external control of the filter.

  • Produces a variety of percussive sounds from cymbals, snares, and hi-hats to oscillation sweeps
  • Triggered via the built-in push button, an external (non-MIDI) drum pad, and most clock generators
  • Processes external sounds through the resonance filter + EXP/CV input for real-time filter control
  • Sturdy die-cast housing
  • Works great with the EHX Clockworks Rhythm Generator/Synthesizer, the 8 Step Program Analog Expression/CV Sequencer, and other similar devices.
