The EHX Bass Preacher Compressor/Sustainer was designed for and by bassists and features fully adjustable controls that can subtly alter or amplify the dynamic qualities of a bass guitar. The Bass Preacher is specifically tailored to the frequency and dynamic range of the E-Bass.

  • Compact compressor specifically designed for bass guitars
  • Input sensitivity ranges from -10 dBu to +2 dBu, making it perfect for passive and active basses with varying output levels
  • Maximum gain reduction of 21 dB, with enough make-up gain to bring the signal back to full volume at maximum sustain (compression)
  • Attack switch changes the onset timing of the compression and offers three selectable settings: fast, medium, and slow
  • True bypass for maximum signal integrity in bypass mode
  • Sturdy, compact die-cast housing
  • Includes 9V battery.
