Product details
The Predator systems are a unique range of compact water cooling systems that combine the expandability of traditional water cooling circuits with the ease of installation of an all-in-one model. Like the latter, they are also supplied assembled and filled, ready for installation, but the individual components are the same as those used for custom loops, including the hoses in the popular 16/10 mm format and the associated fittings with the established G1/4" thread. This makes it easy to replace individual parts or to open up the loop to integrate additional components. The EK-XLC Predator 360 even simplifies this by means of an already installed quick release fastener.
An EK CoolStream PE radiator with a powerful 68 mm thickness in 360 format is used as the heart of the system, providing space for three 120 mm fans. Matching this, three EK-Vardar fans are included, which operate PWM-controlled in the range of 500 to 2,200 rpm and are optimized for high static pressure to provide optimum performance on a water cooling radiator. Also integrated in the radiator are the pump, an EK DDC with 6 watt power and PWM control, and the expansion tank. Compared to the usual design, where the pump is integrated in the CPU cooler, this allows the use of a larger, more powerful and quieter pump, which can also be better decoupled.
The radiator/pump unit is connected to the CPU cooler via black EK-ZMT hoses made of EPDM and nickel-plated EK-ACF fittings. The CPU cooler is compatible with all Intel sockets of recent years. This is a very powerful EK Supremacy MX with split-flow design, copper bottom plate, Plexiglas cover, and a black top plate. Due to the integrated PWM distributor in the pump unit, no unsightly power cables lead to the CPU cooler and from the fans to the motherboard. Instead, a single PWM cable to the CPU cooler connector on the motherboard and a SATA power connector can be used to supply power to the entire cooling system.
