Photo-etched stencil for scribing circles and ovals. Engraving stencils are a valuable aid for accurately self-engraving metal parts, flaps, hinges, and similar details on models made of polystyrene plastic or resin. The thin sheets can also be applied to slightly curved surfaces of fuselages and wings. To prevent slipping, position the stencil, secure it with tape on all four sides, and then carefully scribe along the desired edges of the stencil with an engraving needle or another needle.
