Eaton xComfort interface, EthernetLAN PoE

The Ethernet Communication Interface (ECI) is used for networking in large xComfort systems. The ECIs are connected to each other via a LAN network (existing or additional LAN network). Furthermore, the ECIs communicate with the xComfort radio system. Depending on the application, the ECIs can be configured as LAN routers or area nodes. If xComfort routing is not possible, LAN routing can be used. If individual floors where xComfort is implemented need to be interconnected via LAN/WLAN, the ECIs can also be used as area nodes. For commissioning, MRF 2.0 or higher is required. System integration for third-party applications, such as central hotel software, is also possible. Installation is done using a mounting base on the wall. The power supply for the ECI-LAN is provided through the existing network (POE Power Over Ethernet).
