Residual current (rated differential current)2
Product details
The digital type B+ residual current devices are suitable for all systems, machines, and devices where DC fault currents may occur, such as:
- DC applications like photovoltaic systems or uninterruptible power supplies
- Medical devices like X-ray machines
- Testing and experimental equipment in laboratories and training rooms
- Frequency converters for motor applications
- Controls for elevators and cranes
- Drives with speed control for rolling mills, lathes, and mills
- Workshops, e.g., for the use of welding equipment
- Construction
- Charging stations for electric vehicles.
Type B+: All-current sensitive residual current device for applications where DC fault currents may occur. Non-selective, non-time delayed. Protects against all forms of fault currents. Also meets the requirements of VDE 0664-400 (formerly VDE V 0664-110) for enhanced fire protection.
