Optical sensor, Comet series, polyurethane housing with 18mm diameter and flattened sides for additional mounting comfort, IP67, high vibration and shock resistance. The Comet series includes through-beam photoelectric sensors and retro-reflective photoelectric sensors, with and without background suppression. Simplified installation is provided thanks to visible scanning beams, optional light or dark switching, short-circuit protection, optical crosstalk protection for sensors mounted close by, adjustable amplification factor, and optional connection of fibre optic light guides.
