Product details

The N820-20N is an OM3 laser-optimized multimode fiber optic cable (LOMMF) in Aqua for 10 Gb Ethernet applications. The 50/125um LC/LC fiber optic cables offer nearly four times the bandwidth compared to traditional 62.5um multimode fibers, with performance similar to that of singlemode cables, but at significantly lower costs. LOMMF cables enable 10 Gb serial transmission over longer distances in the wavelength window of 850 nm, where cost-effective vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) provide an economical, high-bandwidth solution. LOMMF is ideal for LANs, SANs, and high-speed parallel connections for headends, central offices, and data centers.
