Product details

In the Thinline model collection, alongside various 335-style guitars, we find a 39-style guitar from Eastman. The T484 is a hollow body with a center block, but significantly smaller than its sibling, the T486, which has nearly identical specifications. Due to its size, the T484 is comfortable and somewhat lighter, but it also sounds different. The tonal difference compared to the T486 can be described as sharper and more direct. The body of the T484 is simply denser than that of the T486. It is ideal for a rock guitarist who needs to cut through the mix, yet it remains creamy enough for blues or jazz guitarists on the neck pickup. Truly a very versatile guitar. The T484 features a laminated maple body, a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, and Seymour Duncan Jazz and 59 humbuckers. The specifications are classic, but the details include beautifully flamed maple on the top and ivory binding around the neck, body, and F-holes. Unlike the T486, there are no block inlays, but rather dot position markers. For optimal wood resonance, the T484 is finished with a genuine tone finish that uses a very thin, acoustic transparent lacquer based on polyurethane, developed by the prestigious Bourgeois Guitars. This guitar comes with a luxurious original Eastman hard case and the associated documents.
