Product details
Dimebag Darrell combined the attitude of a cowboy with high-gain riffs and screaming leads full of pinch harmonics. One of the key elements of his sound was the Cry Baby Wah, which he played at a time when wah pedals had long been out of fashion. Drawing on his years of touring experience, Dimebag helped Dunlop develop the most versatile wah pedal of all time: the Dime Cry Baby From Hell Wah.
Dunlop built the Dime Cry Baby Wah pedal based on the 535Q, incorporating Q-Control, a 6-way range switch, and a switchable and adjustable boost, while modifying the sweep range specifically to Dimebag's needs. They added a control for the maximum sweep range and a second output, and installed two status LEDs on the back of the pedal to indicate the status of the wah and boost. As a final detail, the classic rubber mat on top was replaced with skateboard skid tape to ensure the pedal remains absolutely slip-resistant even in contact with moisture.
The Dimebag Cry Baby is the ultimate tool for touring guitarists, and the new black camo look is sure to put a big smile on the faces of not just 'Cowboys From Hell.'
