Dreambox DVB-C/T2 Dual/TWIN Tuner

Compact size, low heat generation, and low energy consumption: these are the key features of the new Twin Silicon DVB-C/T2 tuner for Dreamboxes with Enigma2. Equipped with the latest technology from semiconductor expert Silicon Labs, the Twin Silicon DVB-C/T2 tuner expands the reception capabilities of the Dreambox.

The new Twin Silicon DVB-C/T2 tuner is compatible with the Dreamboxes DM 920 UHD, DM 900 UHD, DM 7080HD, DM 7020HD, DM 820HD, and DM 800HDse. In no time, the compact single-tuner Dreamboxes DM 820HD and DM 800HDse can be transformed into powerful twin receivers. The DM 7020HD increases its potential to four inputs with the new Silicon tuner, while the DM 7080HD can support up to five inputs.

The Plug&Play tuner features two DVB-C/T2 inputs and is easily inserted into the designated slot. Upon the next startup, the Dreambox automatically recognizes the new tuner and configures it. Further settings can then be made in the Dreambox menu.

The new Twin DVB-C/T2 tuner design from Silicon Labs not only allows for blind scanning with the Dreambox but also enables channel scans at previously unattainable speeds. Even when the tuner is supplied with TV and radio signals via a single cable, programs from one transponder can be recorded while watching others simultaneously.
