The Library of Babel
Inspired by the short story of the same name by Jorge Luis Borges, The Library of Babel takes you to a world 20,000 years after the extinction of humanity. This world is now ruled by advanced robots that know very little about their mythical creators. Everything is well and orderly in a robot-led society until a library is discovered that contains everything that has ever been written, is being written, and will be written - the perfect harbinger of chaos.
You play as Ludovik, a seeker tasked with investigating a murder case in Babylon. When a state of emergency is suddenly declared, Ludovik finds himself on increasingly dangerous ground as he tracks the murderer and uncovers the mystery behind the sudden closure of the library.
The Library of Babel offers a world filled with sprawling jungles, abandoned temples, and numerous cybernetic inhabitants to interact with. It promises both an exciting adventure full of dangers and intrigues, as well as a thoughtful, atmospheric story about how we perceive infinity.
◆ A lush, futuristic world with beautifully hand-drawn 2D environments.
◆ Deadly obstacles and even deadlier enemies to evade, as Ludovik prefers agility and stealth over violence.
◆ Dialogue and inventory management systems reminiscent of 90s graphic adventure games.
◆ A moody, philosophical science fiction story inspired by The Library of Babel and Apocalypse Now.
