The DIGITUS® 2-Port RAID card with two SATA III interfaces features a host controller that manages two full-sized 2.5-inch SSD/HDD drives, bringing server-class functionality to the desktop. This card allows for the use of the latest and fastest drives with 6 Gbps while also providing backward compatibility with older SATA 1.5 / 3 Gbps standards. Each PCI Express 2.0 lane offers a throughput of up to 500 MB/s. The SATA HDD/SSD can be operated as JBOD or in RAID (RAID 0 or RAID 1) configurations.
