Product details

The Women's Guide 42 + 8 SL - touring backpack by Deuter is a robust backpack for alpine use, with a back system that is particularly comfortable for women. The alpine back system combines comfort, durability and function. The two Softstripe pads adapt flexibly to the back with every movement and ensure a firm, secure fit for focussed activity in difficult terrain. The SL shoulder straps with all-round soft edges have a pronounced S-shape and taper off narrowly. They are positioned close together and are therefore optimised for narrower female shoulders. The flexible and removable Delrin U-frame ensures even weight distribution. The ergonomically shaped and compact ECL hip fins hug the hips and thus guarantee a stable and comfortable hold of the load. The main compartment of the Guide 42+8 can be accessed quickly thanks to the innovative lid construction. Other features of the alpine backpack include a stretch inner compartment, lid pockets with key clip, a stowable rope attachment, an ice axe holder, a goggle holder and loops for a helmet holder. Additional equipment can be attached to the gear loops. A zipped hip fin pocket is available for items that need to be quickly at hand. The side compression straps are compatible with sleeping mats and help to pack the rucksack optimally. The Guide 42+8 SL is the ideal rucksack for experienced female mountaineers who attach great importance to a comfortable fit and are looking for a robust companion for extended alpine adventures.
