Denon Dnp-F109
Network Audio PlayerProduct details
Denon originally designed the DNP-F109 as an addition to the D-F109 Mini Hi-Fi systems. However, thanks to its compact dimensions, this attractive and versatile network player quickly finds fans among owners of full-size systems as well.
The DNP-F109 offers nearly everything one could desire in terms of features – including high-resolution playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz, gapless playback for WAV and FLAC formats up to 96 kilohertz, and remote control options via a free app for Android and Apple iOS.
At the heart of the Denon DNP-F109 is the latest generation streaming module (CX870) from the Austrian specialist StreamUnlimited. The Burr Brown PCM9211 serves as the digital interface component, forwarding the digital audio data for conversion to the Asahi Kasei AK4424 D/A converter, which drives the RCA output directly with its integrated output stage. The entire system is powered by a switch-mode power supply.
