With its 200-watt-per-channel amplifier, the new AVR-X4100W delivers a powerful home theater experience and exceptionally detailed music playback. Its audio section decodes high-resolution formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and, combined with DTS Neo:X, Audyssey DSX, and Dolby Pro Logic IIz, it can produce an extremely realistic sound with additional height or wide speakers. The AVR-X4100W is equipped with Denon's proprietary D.D.S.C.-HD circuit featuring the legendary AL24 Processing Plus. For jitter-free transmission from compatible Denon Blu-ray players, the system also offers the innovative Denon Link HD technology. The sound quality of the new receiver has been further enhanced by a comprehensive, powerful Audyssey package, including Audyssey MultEQ XT 32 room calibration (Pro Ready) with Sub EQ HT and LFC. This ensures an optimal listening area, supported by a supplied microphone stand for calibration.

A total of 8 HDMI inputs and 3 HDMI outputs allow for the simultaneous connection of digital devices such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, media players, and camcorders to the AVR-X4100W. The receiver's advanced video processor can handle future 4K/Ultra HD content at 50/60 Hz (full-rate) as well as 4:4:4 Pure Color 4K passthrough—two features of the latest HDMI specification. It is even capable of upscaling standard and HD video sources to an Ultra HD resolution of up to 4K at 50/60 Hz. The features of the AVR-X4100W are rounded out by enhanced multi-zone and preamp options, as well as custom installation commands, making the device a true entertainment system for the entire house. Additionally, Denon has developed a new intelligent Eco mode with unique energy consumption management for an active contribution to environmental protection.
