The 5 metre long Deltaco EV-1105 charging cable comes with a maximum charging capacity of 3.6 kW at 16 A. The single-phase charging cable is equipped with a type 2 to type 1 connection, which is suitable for many older Japanese electric cars. The type 2 plug is standard for charging stations in Europe, which means you can use this cable to charge your electric car with a type 1 connection at most charging stations in Europe. Thanks to the IP 66 certification, the cable is protected against dust and strong water jets and is therefore ideal for charging your electric car in wind and weather. The charging cable is suitable for all vehicles with a type 1 connection, including Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan Leaf (up to model year 2018). The connections of the charging cable are silver-plated, which guarantees a good contact. The single-phase cable is made of TPE material, which offers good resistance to oil and UV light. The charging cable is monitored by bidirectional communication. This means that an exchange takes place between the vehicle and the charger. Before the charging process starts, a self-test is carried out to ensure that the cable is properly connected and that the car can be charged. In addition, a mechanical lock locks the charging cable to prevent theft and unauthorised use of the cable. After charging, first disconnect the charging cable from the type 1 connection on your vehicle. The cable must not be repaired or spliced, as this may impair its safety and function.
