The cable features a robust inner metal shield, providing better protection against external influences and damage, such as rodents and UV radiation. Category 6A. Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and distances up to 100 m, and they are backward compatible with existing categories. Foiled Unshielded Twisted Pair (F/UTP).
