At its core, the D7NU1 from Impactics is a heatsink designed in the form of a mini case intended for passive cooling. Impactics consistently adheres to its K.I.S.S.S. principle: Keep it Simple, Silent, Smart. To house Intel's groundbreaking miniaturized complete systems, NUC (Next Unit of Computing), in an aesthetically appropriate enclosure while also going all out technically, Impactics offers the mini cases in two colors.

The compact case features two cutouts on the back for extension cables, which Impactics offers as optional accessories. This includes a 100-millimeter long cable with an R232 connector and socket that can be connected to a COM port of the installed NUC.
