The Delock 5.25i Mobile Rack is a versatile storage solution that can accommodate multiple drive types in a single 5.25-inch bay (13.3 cm). This rack supports a 5.25-inch slim optical drive along with two 2.5-inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives, providing flexible storage expansion for desktop computers and workstations. With dimensions of 146 mm in width, 42 mm in height, and 170 mm in depth, it fits into standardized 5.25-inch drive bays. The unit features a durable metal construction with a black finish and a front panel with activity LEDs as well as separate power switches for each drive bay. It supports the SATA III interface with data transfer rates of up to 6 Gbit/s and includes the necessary mounting screws and cables for installation. The rack operates at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C and requires a standardized 4-pin Molex power connector. This successor model offers improved compatibility with modern 2.5-inch SSDs while still supporting older optical drives, making it suitable for data backup, media archiving, or system expansions where multiple drive types are needed simultaneously. The robust design ensures reliable operation under various environmental conditions, while the clear separation of power supply and display elements allows for precise control.
