Accidental damage protection is an excellent addition to your basic or premium service. If the system is damaged due to an accident, contact Dell. Their technicians will inform you about the options for sending the damaged unit for repair or arranging an on-site repair.

Examples of accidental damage covered include: liquid spills on the device, impacts from drops and other shock damage, power surges, and an LCD screen damaged from falling.

What is not covered: fire damage, intentional damage (e.g., from forced opening), normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, consumables (e.g., bulbs, toner), theft (covered by Accidental Damage with Theft Service).
