Mark, protect, and secure. Whether on stage, at the film set, or in the studio – classic gaffer tape reliably serves its purpose but often leaves behind annoying adhesive residues. Not so with the DEFENDER EXA-TAPE®: it has been specifically designed for professional use in the fields of audio, video, and construction, and can be removed without leaving any residue – despite its strong adhesion.

EXA-TAPE® is a high-quality cloth tape (gaffer tape) that can be easily torn by hand – cleanly and without frayed edges. The combination of cellulose fabric and a natural rubber adhesive provides strong adhesion on nearly all surfaces – while allowing for clean removal.

EXA-TAPE® is available in several colors: matte black for glare-free work (does not reflect spotlight light) and glossy black, as well as glossy silver and glossy white for marking and labeling.

Stick hard, but leave no traces – this applies not only to the strong adhesion and residue-free removal of the tape. It also reflects our commitment to developing sustainable products and packaging. The packaging is made from recycled material and is completely adhesive-free.

Ergonomic and reusable: the ERGO-Core. For users with high tape needs, the ERGO-Core offers a clever solution: the robust dispenser made of two interlocking plastic parts operates on a ball bearing principle and allows for smooth, low-friction unwinding. The ERGO-Core is reusable, fits universally in EXA-TAPE® rolls, and reduces material wear. European patent pending.
