These affordable entry-level models offer either 8 relay outputs or 8 optocoupler inputs in a compact form. The inputs are galvanically isolated, with a standard input voltage of 15 - 30 V. By swapping a resistor network, it can be reconfigured to 5 - 15 V. An input counter for each channel and input change markers detect state changes. The outputs use relays with a switching voltage of 36 V/DC at 15 W and 1 A. A timeout protection feature ensures that the outputs are turned off in case of an error, which can be configured via software. Up to 16 identical modules can be managed within a system. A Windows tool assigns a number to each module to enable unique addressing. The included driver library DELIB allows for easy access from nearly any programming language.
