In search of her missing sister, Juniper encounters Asher, the lead singer of the rock band Dead Souls. She gets closer to him and discovers that Asher is no ordinary person. He is an Inmorti, an immortal who feeds on the emotions of humans. Juniper is drawn into a fascinating, dark world - and into a war that affects her much more directly than she realizes.
