dB Technologies Sub-618

The SUB618 is an active bass reflex subwoofer featuring a 600 W RMS Class D power amplifier and an 18" driver. Despite its compact enclosure, the system delivers excellent sound pressure levels (up to 133 dB) and provides clean, impressively precise low-frequency reproduction. The outstanding audio performance of the Sub 600s allows users to build most PA systems with a single sub and two full-range speakers, avoiding any external processing or crossover thanks to a symmetrical Xover signal to the left and right speakers.

With the controls on the amplifier panel, users can work with mono or stereo audio input, activate polarity reversal, and choose the output linking mode (True Bypass or Xover). Whenever an extra punch is needed, a boost EQ for low frequencies can be set using the Sub Mode switch. The series comes with a full grille design in a lightweight wooden enclosure (total weight 31 kg), reinforced with a durable, scratch-resistant black cover. Carved side handles enhance portability. The top design facilitates stacking subwoofers in larger systems and features an M20 pole thread for stacking full-range speakers.
