dB Technologies Sub 18H

Whether used in combination with dBTechnologies mid-high speakers or as an addition to an existing speaker system, the SUB 18H provides a perfect enhancement in the bass range with a very low cutoff frequency and excellent playback characteristics. With its integrated stereo crossover, the Sub 18H can be combined as a mono bass with two top speakers, and it can also be stacked and positioned in larger configurations.

Unique in its class, the integrated digital delay can be used for time alignment or to facilitate the setup of modern cardioid configurations, allowing for directed radiation. The acoustic design of the SUB 18H is a combination of horn loading and direct radiation, offering a perfect compromise between range, sound characteristics, and pressure from the very first meter.

The integrated Digipro G3 digital amplifier delivers 1500 watts/PRG to the 18" woofer with a generous 4" voice coil and is controlled by a 24-bit DSP, which manages the crossover (80 or 120Hz), delay, phase reverse switch, and equalization, as well as the input-side dual limiter for maximum operational safety.

The housing of the SUB 18H features a modern hybrid design. The fully wooden enclosure is laminated with a robust PVC surface, and the corners are protected by durable yet easily replaceable plastic profiles. The Sub 18H is prepared for rear wheel mounting and features an M20 thread for the use of a distance pole. The power connection is made via Neutrik Powercon, including a link output.
