D'Angelico guitars are inspiring in every way. Primarily, they are stunning to look at, but alongside all this external show, D'Angelico also meets all technical and quality expectations. In the current D'Angelico collection, you will also fully immerse yourself in the world of solid bodies and semi-acoustic models. The cut body and its refined appearance exude class and style. Its body is more compact than that of a traditional ES335, yet slightly larger than that of an ES339. Combined with the types of wood used, the SS also occupies its own nuanced place in the sound spectrum among the other D'Angelico models. Aside from the appearance, the other specifications also differ significantly from the regular model. For example, this LTD features a laminated body over a flamed maple back and a back-flamed maple top (normally, the SS has a spruce top). The maple set neck is equipped with a rosewood fretboard (normally this is ebony) with a 16-inch radius. The tuners are coarse super-automatic locking tuners, and the guitar has a scale length of 25 inches. The highlight under the hood is the prestigious Seymour Duncan Antiquity Retro pickups with coil-splitting on the tone pots. The satin nickel hardware is a wonderful contrast to the high-gloss sapphire finish. This guitar comes with the original case.
