Dali Oberon 5

Slim floorstanding speakers like the Oberon 5 are considered all-rounders among sound transducers. They require relatively little space, can be easily integrated into most living environments, and impress with excellent sound quality.

The Oberon 5 is one of the particularly sonorous representatives of its kind. This is due not only to the stable cabinet, which is reinforced with internal braces to effectively combat disruptive cabinet resonances, but also to the uncommon technical features found in this price range. It is no surprise that the two woofers, developed in-house by DALI, ensure deep-reaching, highly dynamic bass and a balanced, natural midrange reproduction. The drivers feature particularly lightweight yet extremely stiff 130 mm (5 1/4'') wood fiber membranes, as well as magnetic systems made from the patented magnetic material SMC and high-quality voice coils wound with copper-coated aluminum wire. All of this results in a particularly impulsive, lively, and faithful reproduction of any music and film soundtracks.

Above 2,400 Hz, the tweeter specifically designed for the Oberon series takes over the reproduction of all upper mids and high frequencies. The particularly large 29 mm dome is made from an exceptionally lightweight fabric, allowing it to reproduce even the shortest impulses in the signal very accurately. Thanks to its wide dispersion characteristic, the Oberon 5 is capable of filling the entire room with a cleanly layered stereo soundstage, rather than just the few listening positions directly in front of the speakers in the "sweet spot.".
