Better 10G Ethernet Connectivity for Enterprise Deployments

The D-Link 10G SFP+ module series consists of hot-swappable SFP+ transceivers that plug into SFP+ slots of switches and support 10G Ethernet. The D-Link 10GBASE SFP+ module series offers customers a wide range of 10G Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise cabling, and service provider transport applications.

10G Ethernet Speeds

The transceivers support all 10G Ethernet, enabling very fast data transfers of up to 10 Gbit/s. This is ten times faster than Gigabit Ethernet and allows the switch to handle faster and higher data transfers, making it highly suitable for business requirements.

Enhanced Format for Small Form Factors

The transceivers utilize the Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable Format (SFP+). The SFP+ form factor is smaller than other form factors like Xenpak, X2, and 10G XFP, resulting in lower costs, reduced power interruptions, and higher port density. They provide the necessary signal amplification to transmit data from the port to the network cable and vice versa.

Hot-Pluggable

All D-Link transceivers are hot-pluggable. You can connect a transceiver while the system is powered on without causing any issues. This allows for the addition or removal of modules without interrupting the network.
