The DGS-1100 Smart Switch Series is an effective solution for environments that require simple network management. The user-friendly web interface of the DGS-1100 switches allows for easy control of Layer 2 features such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and static Link Aggregation. With strong security features like IGMP Snooping, static MAC addresses, and Storm Control, the DGS-1100 series is versatile for environments that need quickly deployable solutions without added complexity.

The DGS-1100 series offers Loopback Detection and cable diagnostics, helping network administrators quickly and easily identify and resolve network issues. Loopback Detection identifies loops generated from a specific port, automatically shutting down the affected port. The cable diagnostics feature allows network administrators to quickly check the quality of copper cables, determine the cable type, and detect cable faults.

Thanks to D-Link Green technology, the DGS-1100 Smart Series can save energy without compromising functionality. The majority of the product family operates silently and energy-efficiently without fans. All switches comply with the IEEE 802.3az standard and provide connection status detection as well as scheduled PoE (with the exception of the DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P models).
