The DLink 14-Port Managed Snitch Induus PoE is a professional network switch designed for demanding business and enterprise environments that require reliable Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. This managed switch model features 14 Ethernet ports with PoE support, enabling simultaneous data transmission and power supply for connected devices such as IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, VoIP phones, and other network equipment. With comprehensive management capabilities, this switch offers advanced network control including VLAN configuration, Quality of Service (QoS) prioritization, port mirroring, and traffic monitoring tools for optimized network performance. The robust metal housing ensures durability and effective heat dissipation during continuous operation, while the rack-mountable 1U design allows for space-saving installation in server rooms or network cabinets. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards with a sufficient total PoE budget to power multiple devices simultaneously. Network security features include MAC address filtering, port security, and access control lists for enhanced network protection. The device operates in a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C and has LED indicators for port status, power supply, and system activity. With dimensions of approximately 44 cm in width, 28 cm in depth, and 4.4 cm in height, as well as a weight of about 2.8 kg, this switch provides a compact and powerful networking solution. The fanless design ensures silent operation for office environments, while the dual power input options offer redundancy for critical applications. This managed PoE switch model represents a reliable infrastructure component for businesses looking to efficiently deploy and manage connected devices while maintaining control over their network environment.
