This CSL SSD 8.89cm (2.5-inch) mSATA to SATA adapter enclosure converts an mSATA mini SSD into a standard 2.5-inch SATA SSD. The mSATA to SATA adapter enclosure features all the standard mounting points that a standard 2.5-inch hard drive can use, allowing it to be installed in external hard drive enclosures, hard drive docking stations, or desktop PCs and notebooks.

To optimize performance and harness the full speed potential of SATA III hard drives, the mSATA to SATA adapter supports transfer speeds of up to 6 Gbps when paired with a compatible controller.

The installation is very simple: Open the hard disk enclosure, insert your mSATA SSD into the designated port, and fasten it with the mounting screws. After installing the mSATA hard disk, close the housing and secure it with the enclosed mounting screws.
