You can connect various USB devices such as CD drives, scanners, MP3 players, card readers, webcams, digital cameras, or printers. With the PCI Express slot and USB 3.0 technology, transfer rates can be achieved that are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0. This is particularly advantageous for external hard drives as well as USB sticks and flash drives with large amounts of data when operated directly via USB 3.0. Your device also requires a USB 3.0 connection.

The adapter card complies with the PCI Express standard and can be connected to any PCI Express slot.
