Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting game with strong PvE elements, set in the darkest corners of the world. Wild, nightmarish monsters roam the swamps of Louisiana, and you are part of a group of rugged bounty hunters aiming to rid the world of their gruesome presence. Banish these creatures from our world, and you will be generously rewarded – gaining the opportunity to purchase even more brutal and powerful weapons. If you fail, death will take both your character and your equipment. However, your experience will remain in your pool of hunters, your bloodline.

The competitive, combat-based gameplay of Hunt blends PvP and PvE elements to create a unique, thrilling experience where your life, character, and equipment are always at stake. At the start of each bounty hunting match, depending on whether you choose team or solo play, up to five two-player teams or ten solo players set out to hunt their monstrous targets. Depending on the mode and team options you have chosen, the 12 consist of a combination of solo players and two- or three-player teams.
