To ensure the iron-on transfer lasts as long as possible on the fabric you want to apply it to, it's important to apply it correctly. Therefore, follow the instructions as closely as possible. Make sure the garment you want to apply the image to is clean. Also, wash new clothing before applying the transfer, as they are often treated with chemicals to make the colors appear more vibrant. These chemicals should be removed before processing. Now, heat the area where the design will be ironed on with your iron for five to ten seconds. Make sure to turn off the steam function if you are using a steam iron. Next, place the image on the preheated fabric and iron over it in circular motions for about 30 seconds. Flip the fabric over and iron the back for approximately 15 seconds in circular motions as well. After that, let the material cool for one to two minutes.
