Make sure the garment you want to apply the design to is clean. Also, wash new clothing before applying the transfer, as they are often treated with chemicals to make the colors appear more vibrant. These chemicals should be removed before processing. Now, preheat the area where the design will be ironed for five to ten seconds with your iron. Make sure to turn off the steam function if using a steam iron. Next, place the image on the preheated fabric and iron over it in circular motions for about 30 seconds. Flip the fabric over and iron the back for approximately 15 seconds in circular motions as well. Then, let the material cool for one to two minutes.
